1 Microdiffractomètre MD2 The Microdiffractometer MD2 has been designed to perform the most demanding macromolecular crystallography experiments.
The MD2 is a turnkey system, fully integrated, including the control system and control software.
Designed for high throughput crystallography experiment and for maximum user friendliness, use of the microdiffractometer and its associated components is easy and particularly efficient.
The MD2 reaches an unrivalled level of performance thanks to high-tech solutions.

Key features
- On-axis video: The videomicroscope (patented) looks along the beam axis and views the sample without parallax error. (see OAV)
- Air bearing PHI axis: precise and fast. Sphere of confusion radius less than 2µm
- User-friendly GUI: full remote control with efficient tuning and diagnostic tools
- Fully integrated: turnkey system with control system and software. TANGO device server
- Integrated beam shaping: 5 to 100µm beam
- Assisted or automatic sample centring and alignment

- Scintillator: controls beam shape and position
- Florescence detector table
- Cryo-cooler translation table
- Compatible with the Sample changer: (see SC3) fast and reliable sample transfer
- Compatible with the mini-kappa head (see MK3): allows orientation of the sample
