The On-Axis Videomicroscope has been designed to observe and align crystals with an x-ray beam at synchrotron x-ray bemalines. Its unique and patented design (EMBL patent) allows, when associated with an x-ray scintillator, the perfect alignment of micro crystals. It is also installed on the MD2.
The high resolution drilled objective and the 12X zoom allows a field a view ranging from 1.8x1.5mm to 0.18 to 0.12 mm. Optimal performances are obtained when used in conjunction with our LED based lighting units (transmitted or reflected light).
